Loose weight by walking

Many studies have shown that walking is of a huge benefit. More and more people see walking as a fitness program, just look arrounf you in the malls. An eight years long study of 13,000 participants has proven that those who walked 30 minutes per day have significantly reduced their risk to premature dearh comparing to those who don't (or rarely) exercised. In addition it reduced blood cholesterol, increased the cardiorespiratory endurance, bone strength increased, blood pressure lowered, and burned calories to keep weight down. Now that is a walking fat loss programm !

Weight loss by walking is simple, and convenient program to begin. What you need is clothing which is confortable for your body, a pair of walking shoes and optimisme ! You can get a friend with you if walking alone is boring for you, or you can take your dog with you. But if you like calm and walking just with yourself that would be great too.

Include a short 5 minute warm-up to make the heart pumping and the blood flowing.
Don't speed up ! Just start out at a confortable speed while you focus on posture, with head lifted and shoulders relaxed.

Some useful tips would be : breathing deeply, and swinging arms naturally. You may check whether you are walking too fast by holding a conversation or singing a tune.

When you begin to feel fit, you will see the ease in which you are moving and will begin to incorporate hills to improve your cardiorespiratory endurance more. One more benefit would be the fact it tones the legs and gluts. At last Conclude with some relaxing stretches that lengthen your muscles and make you feel recharged and refreshed !

I like to walk alone for long kilometers, it keeps me healthy and fit, it also helps me make my mind clear. You might be like me, or not, so if you like the to spice up your walk listen to music, it will add some fun to the benefits of your walk.

Lastly, make sure you record in a journal your workouts. Keep an eye on your progress and appreciate ALL YOUR SUCCESS even if it seems small.
